
Key responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Visiting job sites, offices, and warehouses to build relationships with contractors, electricians, and procurement officers.
- Sales Growth: Meeting or exceeding assigned gross margin budgets by identifying new prospects and expanding business with existing clients.
- Product Expertise: Providing technical knowledge on electrical products, lighting, solar, and switchgear.
- Account Management: Handling complaints, processing orders, and providing solutions to clients.
- Clear Communication: Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions
- Merchandise: Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed, and recommend new items for stock
- Maintain Records: Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions; assist in collection of past due accounts
- Training: Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
- Demonstration: Demonstrate products after sale when necessary
